My name is Betsy Paret. I have called Milton my home for 11 years. I currently serve on 3 town commissions and 1 county commission representing Milton. I worked for the federal courts for 33 years. Now that I am retired, I would like to serve my local community. Let's work together for Milton!
I moved to Milton in 2015 after living in the Washington DC area for 30+ years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Public Administration degree. I worked for the federal courts for 33 years. I am currently retired and have time to devote to serving on the Selectboard. Milton has given me so much and I want to give back to my community.
My volunteer work includes: Planning Commission, Chair;
Recreation Commission,
Vice Chair; Conservation Commission, Treasurer; CSWD Board of Commissioners, Assistant Secretary; United Way, Volunteer Bone Builders Instructor; and Milton Family Community Center (MFCC), Food Shelf Volunteer.
Milton is a wonderful place to live and work. Through collaboration, community engagement, and hard work, I will strive to make Milton a place that supports and attracts young adults, families, seniors, and businesses. My focus will be on minimizing the financial burden on Milton residents while ensuring that everyone receives the services they need and deserve.
